KT board is a new type of material formed by foaming PS particles into a board core and laminating the surface with film. The board body is straight, lightweight, not easy to deteriorate, and easy to process. It can be directly printed on the board through screen printing (silk screen board), painting (paint adaptability needs to be tested), laminating adhesive images, and spray painting. It is widely used in advertising display and promotion, building decoration, culture and art, and packaging.
In terms of advertising, it is used as a mounting lining for exhibitions, displays, and announcements of product promotional information. Additionally, it is widely used in screen printing, making it particularly suitable for large-scale unified promotional activities. Dimensions: Available from 0.9m to 1.2m wide, usually 2.4m long.
The market will confuse KT board and PVC foam board, both of which are widely used in the advertising industry. Many sellers refer to them as KT board, but they are actually two different types of boards (KT board and PVC foam board).
The price, material, and weight of the two types of boards are significantly different by several times. In fact, in essence, KT board (foam board) is a board with foam inside and PVC veneer outside. It is light and cheap. Because the heart is too soft (the foam will flatten when pressed), it is not suitable for making complex model buildings. Of course, you can use it carefully, but the effect is obviously not as good as that of PVC foam board.
PVC foam board, also known as Chevrolet board, uses PVC as the inner layer for foaming, and the outer layer is also PVC veneer. Due to its high density, it weighs 3-4 times heavier than KT board, and of course, it is also expensive 3-4 times. The hardness is relatively high, and good PVC foam boards cannot be pinched with fingers and are commonly used to make model buildings.

The production process of ps foam board
1: By foaming PS particles into 2.5mm-3.0mm board cores through equipment (one-time foaming), the weight of the board core, which is the density of the board, can be controlled here, which is the hardness index of the secondary formed board. At this time, the board core is made of coiled material, usually 500 meters. At this time, the board core needs to be stored at room temperature for about 7 days (ripening period). The previous process was half a month, and after long-term practical research, it has been proven that one week is the ideal state. If the time is too short, the hardness of the board will not meet the expected requirements, and the thickness of the board will be too thick; Over time, the hardness of the board is too hard, but the thickness may be thinner. The ripening period is to discharge some of the waste gas from the board core.
The difference between removable adhesive
1、 The difference in painting methods from the screen: the movable back glue is an indoor photo, using water-based ink; Car stickers are usually sprayed with weak solvent ink by users. Water-based ink is not resistant to water or sunlight, so removable adhesive is mainly used indoors. The car stickers are made of water and oil resistant ink.
What are the superior properties of PU foam board?
1. The tensile strength is 265MPa, which is 2.5 times the strength of ordinary aluminum plates, making it a good choice for home building materials;2. The corrosion resistance is three times that of ordinary aluminum plate and twice that of stainless steel;
Product features of PVC free foam board
1. Characteristics of water resistance, flame retardancy, acid and alkali resistance, mothproof, lightweight, thermal insulation, sound insulation, and shock absorption2. It is processed equally with wood, and its processing performance is far superior to that of wood
